God's Way of Doing Things - Abel

Scriptures: Hebrews 11:4, Genesis 4:3-8, Num 20:2-13

Message(Big idea):

When I trust God, I do things His way.

Meditation(Think about it):

Have I done God's commands my way?

Have I done what God asked, but becomes it was hard or embarrassing I did it my way?

Examples:

2 Sam 6 - Uzzah was the Lord's servant and when they went to retrieve the ark it almost fell. He reached out his hand to steady and the Lord struck him dead. God had told the Israelites how to move the Ark, to be carried by poles, and only by Levites. "If anyone touches the Holy things, they will die." -God

Numbers 20:2-13 - Moses was told to speak to the children of Israel and water would come forth from a rock, Moses didn't do it how God wanted him to and he could not enter into the promised land.
